July-I Received the greatest great birthday gifts - being sixty is nifty!

Gift #1 - My husband and I went to Duke Brain Cancer to receive my standard MRI and the results remain stable. Praise God for the blessings!!!! I cannot tell you how much I love our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! God promises remain true! I am walking in the victory!

Gift #2 - My doctor also changed my seizure medicine from Keppra to Briviact. I started the new medicine on July 20th and I went from walking out of the dark cloud of depression to a more hopeful mindset. I know people think I am being overly dramatic. I dropped from 4 pills per day to 2. I know most of my growth is mind over matter. I learned how to appreciate the small things.

Gift #3 - My husband, children, and grandbaby (Kayin & Isis) gave me special gifts. My husband gave me special perfumes from Belgium and Nigeria. My daughter gave me a lovely handmade leather purse. Also, my first Brandon Blackwood bag.

Gift #4 - I reached my 60th milestone and I embrace it! It is a blessing to still be alive. Year 3 post my surgery and diagnosis and many more years to come...God is not finish with me yet!
